DB07 have you got enough stain coat left for one more coat ? (Remember that first coat is 2-3 times as thirsty as subsequent coats.
You may find as your first coat was heavy that it may only need one more coat. The DT should get a bit darker as it cures as it takes time with no drying agents
The colour is looks great! Interested to see how the colour develops as it dries. The top coat should also deepen the colour.
cheers,
Gav.
This is how much I have left over, so thinking for at least one more coat, I will need more stain.

Just an update, Adam and Dingo are absolute legends. After emailing them, was able to get some more first coat of the Karijini Red sent out, which arrived yesterday, so I could do a 2nd or 3rd coat. My guitar has been sitting there, curing for nearly three weeks, and I can already see it has darkened slightly, so It's in good shape to get the the mahogany colour I want.

Getting much closer to the Red Mahogany colour I want... Very happy with it.
Now to leave it another two or three weeks.
So, looking at putting the first intensifier coat on.
Does it need a little sand back before I do this?
Hi DB07, if there is any build up give it a light rub with super fine steel wool. If not then go ahead with next intensifying coat
I don't think using Reschs Pilsener as an intensifier coat will work.
haha Fretty you are on fire todaz !
