Done with the Wudtone, time to leave for a week to cure before final clean up of binding then onto top coating..
Dyed front of headstock black using colortone and revealed the only troublesome glue spot behind nut. Attacked this with a wire brush and dye has now been absorbed.
Let the waiting begin.. Luckily I have a Telecaster to rebuild in the interim.

looking very slick Andrew well done. Should come up a treat with clear coats
Sweet. Almost looks like a gold top.
That looks very nice Andrew. Those colours really complement each other.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking forward to getting the finishing coats onto this, luckily I've cultivated enough patience to wait out on the curing times!
yer Andrew, just order another couple of kits so there's always work to do while some are curing !
Very wise words WokkaQuote:

The colours are looking good Andrew
Yeah, already thinking about my next project... seem to be heading towards either an ES-335 or LP Jnr 'style' guitar (have managed to formulate a nice TV 'yellow' finish with liming solution and yellow dye on some scrap wood...
sounds like a great plan Andrew
