Yep, the standard of entrants each month is unbelievably good but never let that put you off as yours is worthy to be amongst any that have been entered so far this year.
Thanks Waz, again, most appreciated.
Just realised this build has already taken 3.5 months!!
I put on a second coat of clear on the back tonight. I also gave the back of the neck a light rub with 1200 and it is super smooth now. It will be interesting to see how it comes up after the second coat dries.
I also need to fix up a mistake on the front of the head stock. I wanted to clean up the finish a bit, so I used some 1200 wet and dry but didn't expect the marker pen I used for the logo to wipe away with 2 coats of clear over the top!
I'll need to touch it up tomorrow night. Not happy, it's my first real setback.

That's a quickie Z, EXA-1 is at 9 months already, 10 months if you include the agonising over how to start.
Not Happy Jan!!
Tried to touch up the head stock logo, and the marking pen decided to blow it's load all over the place!!
Back to square one.......

Hey buddy, maybe order some decal transfer paper, easily found on ebay, and use an ink jet or laser printer to print your logo.
One thing I figured out after doing a couple of decal transfers, and shall do on any future builds, is to print the logo in the middle of a large area so that you can trim it all back to the edge of the headstock thus avoiding any obvious tell tale signs.
Not that you should hide the beauty on this headstock but for others wanting a black background simply drop the logo in the middle of a black background and reverse it out in whatever colour you want remembering that white on the computer screen comes out clear on the transfer paper.
