Yeah it's a hell of a squeeze isn't it! Mine has standard size pots but also has to fit a bus board for the active pickups into it. It is very tightly packed!Quote:

I finally got the guitar up and running today, so Dad's been gifted it now.
We have a little bit of work to do with the setup but... look, you wanted a demo and it's here. I'll spare you from listening to my Dad's first time playing guitar, so it's my ugly mug instead, just a little bit of stuffing around, all good stuff. Tried to show off some cleans, fuzz, distortion, all the pickups and some different stuff, so hopefully this works for you guys.
It's not perfect, but I think it sounds pretty great. All through my AC15C1, fuzz is from a Fuzzface, distortion's from a DS-1A.

Did you have to cut the chrome neck PUP mounting ring to make it fit? Good job and most folks probably wouldn't have picked up on that. I only did as the same thing happened on my EX-1 and hence why I went top loaded naked look.

It might have just squeezed in but it was easier to just cut it.
I'm pleased. Just wish my one was back from the shop... Kinda miss it.

It was going to just be a week or so but it's been there for months cause there's been huge delays getting the pickups in. I'm sad.

North man here Cazaron, but guitar looks amazing. Did it ever cross your mind to get it autographed by his favourite player? I thought of doing a similar thing for a family member, but I wonder how the player would react.
