Whilst an EX looks a bit 'out there' and in your face they are surprisingly comfortable and easy to play. Saw a YT video on Garry Moore a few weeks back and never knew he played one. He specifically mentioned how good they were for playing the blues on middle switch position with both pickups. Heck, even Keith Urban plays one live so it is not just Metallica, etc who use them as seems to be the stereotype.

Hmmm, that’s tricky. I’m convinced by your technical argument but I’m not sure Mrs Richy17 is going to be so easily persuaded. I was considering starting a thread to petition Mrs DarkMark with compelling reasons why I needed a second kit.Quote:
