Seems like a good undercoat, Dulux is pretty reliable, just check to see if it is a oil, metho, thinners or water based undercoat, then stick with this formula and brand. Undercoats are also essential for proper adhesion, you don't want it bubbling down the line. Waz is on the ball as usual.Quote:

Nice colour mate.
Never done a solid spray so no first hand experience comments from me however it looks like a few more primer-sanding-primer stages may have been required before rushing in to do 1st coat of colour.

I put a dab of paint on there, but unfortunately the scratch plate wouldn't fully cover it. There is no hum at all, unlike some cheap guitars I have had in the past.

I need to adjust the input, as the lead is very rad to get in and out. I just need two small spanners.
I will also order some Dingowax for my Fretboard, as I prefer the smoothness like the Maple on my Ibanez.

I'd give the guitar a few days to settle down first under tension. It's going to take a little while to reach equilibrium. First thing to do in any set-up is adjust the amount of neck bow, and until the neck's had a little while to find it's happy spot, it's really not worth doing that. And even that adjustment should be done slowly, no more than 1/4 turn at a time, and again, give it time to settle between adjustments (OK, if there's a lot of adjustment to make I'd go quite quickly but once you're in the right ballpark, then slowly does it).
