Did you end up getting the same finger style tailpiece that I got?
I, unfortunately, for the moment at least, can't continue with my builds, hence no updates from me.
Hopefully, by January, I would have regathered a usable working space to continue with them [Drama with stuff that was is storage, now cluttering the flat and taken up the work space ]:o
I did buy a new Guitar though, OUCH ! [sort of to make up for the ordeal ]
A New Japan Made Tokai SG 88, that came with some weird paisley textured vinyl wrapper hard case.

I also bought a excellent overdrive/ distortion pedal that is made in China, The Biyang ToneFancier X-Drive, available from Ebay AUS$63 delivered...... it has two additional chips you can interchange inside the pedal that give subtle changes to the sound.
Check it out.

Wow, ton of overdriven sound for only AUD$63 delivered......absolute bargain.
-
yup Tweaky, same one, I nearly got a gold one for the ES5 but went for something more simple, but it was either a Bigsby or the finger style on this and it doesn't really need a trem.

nice one Dedman, kit looks great. Did you order it with a PBG case ? looks like ebony fingerboard ? Workshop looks very tidy and organised.
Is that a HJ Kingswood in the first pic is that your beast ?
Was a sad day when Ted Bullpit actor passed recently - NOT THE KINGSWOOD !!
-
Yea Wok, Ebony fretboard, it seems the ebony glue in necks fit the ES-2V with a little sanding.
I'm slowly gonna get cases for my builds...they stack that way :P
car is a HZ Kingswood, 100,000klm last year. Was the most holy and sacred parental Kingswood, back seat has never been sat on :P
-
nice one Dedman, kit should be a winner
HZ last model of the Kingswood before the Commodore was released.
You drove 100,000km in a year holy carp - you sure it doesn't have a taxi sign on the roof ?
And the back seat hasn't even been christened that's a rare Kingswood mate !
