Thanks guys! Now I can get stuck into my ES-1G again.

I would like to introduce you all to my Non PBG Ash J Bass.

All stock parts except for 3 x 250k Bourns audio taper pots, Sprague 0.047 Orange Drop Capacitor, Switchcraft output socket. Finished in a blend of 4 parts ColorTone Cherry Red to 1 part Blackstone Uluru Red Fountain Pen Ink, stained twice, then finished off with 20 odd coats of Tru Oil on the body and around 12 or so coats on the neck.

Forgot to put the Diablo Diddly box in here! Neck is from Pitbull, the rest is scratch built or from my extensive pile of junk and left overs

As we cannot enter PBG GOTM too many good builds not being showcased anywhere else and hope to see many more as others catch on to the spirit of this thread.

great idea Waz, makes sense. I got a DIY uke I started about 2 years ago and been 2 busy to get back onto

haha Waz I lost interest in the uke, maybe if I got a piezo pickup in it, my instruments have to be able to make big noise.

I'll get around to it someday, I still got a pile of kits about 8-10 high untouched

Saving them up for a rainy day? Believe it rains lots in Perth during winter.
