Yes a cracker of a guitar. Stolen from a van in London between gigs (in the late 80's)... never to be seen again... lesson learned the hard way.

bummer Ponch, so no chance of finding it now.
Back in the late 80's car alarms were probably only hitting the market.
An angry dog in the van would have saved it !
ahh yeah wokka the pickguard can be removed, it says on the page though that its pre fitted which means the holes for the screws will already have been drilled, and so youd probs have to fill them and take extra care when staining so you cant see them!
thats what i was meaning, not that it was like glued to the body or anything like that haha
oh ok got you Ben, gee the factory make some rash decisions to pre-drill pickguard holes on a beautiful quilted maple cap that shouldn't be hidden behind plastic !
yeah thats it
Saw these kits at PBG HQ yesterday....
And yes, the caps are about 9.5 on the trouser fail scale :)
man, that is sweet!
no leftie!
Spank me! I could have lived without seeing that. GAS is a drag when you don't have the cash or space to buy more kits. (Not the mention the ill-advised buy one/sell one agreement with my wife for all future guitar purchases.)
there's also a quilted LP and PRs, I just haven't had the time to photograph them.
The binding is interesting, it looks like they've used timber instead of plastic.
stop it Ads, you got to stop teasing us with these awesome sounding kits.
Timber binding, wow, was DB's hair blowing back ?
