I think the reverse wind on the B-string does my head in even more than the shuffling the tuning machines. Surely, if their theory is sound, you would just have a 5-a-side reverse headstock.

Yeah, I try to set my machine heads to get as straight a pull as possible.
IMHO this improves the overall sound and, and, its all about the vibe :)
