well done Simon we haven't seen a trans white build like this and a beautiful gloss. Gold hardware and red pearloid guard really go well. Great build !
Hey Swinging beef, I basically used cheap acrylic paint from the dollar store and diluted it with water and stained it like you normally would. But beware of the amount of water you use because you can raise a significant amount of grain in the process. I then sprayed a couple of clear coats and then grain filled with timbermate. The grain of the body wasn't too spectacular to see much figuring. I then used about 3 cans of clear coats and buffed it out.
