Yes Wokka, that is the standard way, but the nuts on this guitar has the reverse order as per Rickenbacker 12 strings. I want the standard way.

could you flip the nut and do some file work?
Finally got a chance to play around with the kit on the weekend.
Got the neck & bridge placements worked out. Definitely leaning towards doing my first "burst". Especially as the centre blocks are zebra striped while the edge blocks have very wavy grain. Hopefully the pics show this.
I also looked into the headstock dimensions. The bass side seems fine, it's the treble side where things went a little wonky. I think I will shape evened up before I look at the tuner holes on that side. They are all just a touch out But I need to know that I can do a better job before I dowel them up and try and redrill. Any advice on the best method for shaving off the excess on the treble side?
And just so you can see what the difference is with the necks, the nut is 48mm wide which is significantly wider than on my TL-1TB.
Shaved the side of the headstock to even out the shape. Did a mock up with the tuning machines. Think I'll have to plug up the holes and re-space them. The tuning machines are really too close to each other at the moment.
This is insane Fretty, what a fun build
I wonder if some smaller size replacement tuner knobs would also help.
Perhaps. I hadn't thought of that. Need to investigate swapping the buttons if I can find smaller replacement ones. I was originally looking for small button tuners but Wilkinson seemed to only have small button tuners in right handed 6-in a line. (like I used on my TL).
