I've tested the resistance of LP pups Stan, from memory bridge was between 8-9k ohms and neck was about 7-8k ohms.
I'll try and remember to check next time I got the cover off one

cheers Wokka, that seems pretty standard then.
yeah Overlord don't quote me that is going on memory. Pretty sure they are around that region so not overwound or superhot but enough grunt to sound pretty good for stockys
When I did the 4-wire mod and magnet upgrade (here) I measured a couple of sets of stock PBG humbuckers first to get a baseline. The Bridge pups were ~11.1K and the Necks were ~10.7K (ended up at 11.5K and 11.2K respectively after the magnet swap).
Just looked at my pups, about the same as Weirdy's measurements, bridge was ~11.3k and neck was ~10.5k and they sound pretty grunty to me!
nice one Weirdy, I totally forgot the figures and they are quite a high resistance pup
I love my stockie singles in my STA. Wouldn't even think about changing them.
Just wanting to mention. Daion Performers should be pretty decent guitars. I have a Daion Performer P Bass that I picked up for $80 and it plays very nicely.
