Q: Will the headstock be customised or Gibsonesque?
Hi Max will be customised - what shape yet is still unknown.
Hey guys might be non existant but have looked on the net and cannot find an adjustable wraparound for 7 string similar to PRS style.
Has anyone ever come across one?
Not a great deal of progress due to work but have decided on headshape ( ESP style) and will go string through with the TOM bridge. Pickups arrived yesterday so will be interested to see how these Alumitones sound. Will have to make arched pickup rings to suit.

great build, that neck looks fantastic
Have left this guitar alone for awhile as wasn't happy with the top after I blacked it. 'Lots of glue and not the best flame.
So using the old adage of "When life gives you lemons, make a really large Bourbon and get over it" went ahead and routed the pickup cavities ( badly i might add, thankful for pickup rings.)
Sanded back as much as i thought possible'without sanding through, couldn't get the glue off so now it is a feature.
As for color was looking at a Gibson Darkfire yesterday at a guitar shop and tried to emulate that.
Body coloured and then with a protective coat of Tru Oil while I work on the back.
Still to shape the headstock.
Sweet Tony - some good lemonade there!
nice work Tony, what is the red?
@Stan is a mix of Cherry Red and Red Mahogany colourtone
