I was actually thinking about one of those the other day Wokks. I wanna get up the mountain and do some snowboarding while I'm there and a gopro would be just the best. Like you say, ideal for those downhill kayak runs too:-)Quote:

You might need a helmet and full leathers if you attack the same hill (or some padding on the fence and remove the barbed wire)
All my incar stuff is a GoPro HD ( first series HD ) with a wrist remote, I have a friend who is a highly credentialed professional photographer who uses a GoPro Black for stills taken from angles and time lapse that he can't reach with a full frame camera.
They really are a good thing but possibly a bit over priced
I was just looking at the price of the GoPro's (jaw drops), I couldn't justify owning one of those nowadays. Back in NZ where I had the ocean 15 mins away and the snow an hours drive I'd be using it all the time. Unfortunately the surf/snow is a sorely lacking in my sleepy little rural Australian town:-(Quote:
