So all hardware is in place :) just need to set the neck and string her up!! Space wise I need to wait till we move but whether I can wait or not is another question!!!

I also customised the pick guard bracket to give the guard a slight "lift" like the Gretsch does :)

Hey ShazzRandom, the guitar is looking really awesome with all the hardware on it now, that red colour goes really well with the Chrome of the hardware.

well done Shaz no hum or buzz and working very nicely you must be stoked. Looking very nice most of the hardware on the body. I think you should just attach the neck to the cardboard body looks very cool ! haha

Shaz when you checked to see if the neck and bridge were on independently did you make sure that the other pickup was off?

Can't believe I've just glued it! Almost at the end... Not quite sure how to feel :/ happy that it's almost done but sad at the same time... Is this the point people buy more kits?

The cardboard pickguard template in my avatar is all there is (other than the pickups) of a 12 string telecaster i am building, just to give you an idea that it never stops, no matter how little gets done.

Yes a very different 12 string tele as well, lots of tricky wiring and drilling and routing, i may just buy a body blank and do it myself.
Yes i always keep diaries of my guitars, and even pickups i wind, and when i get time i put them on the net, either my FB diary or here.
I will probably start my blog site after i get home from hols end of April.

Hey Shazz you should be able to work out where the rattle is coming from. Is the spring or mountings of the Bigsby loose ? This is the stock bridge isn't it ?
