or two....... looking real nice Darryl
Next one with the more ornate markings on the top like you were considering for this one?
I may still do it on this one. I have to finalise the finish properly so could still be on the cards

Very nice! Lean, mean modern looking LP machine!
Mate, after having done this a few times here's my advice for your first attempt:
- get a set of StewMac or equivalent fret pulling pliers. They look like the old school end nip pliers, but the front face is ground flush when they close.
- get or make a set of fret board protectors/ chip stoppers, to shield your fretboard

-put a little back bow on the neck before you attempt to pull the frets, it may help you free up the tangs and prevent chipping.
- get some small needle files or specialised fret end files to dress the ends. With your bound fretboard you will need to notch the tang at each end of the fret once you get it cut to size to allow for the body of the fret to overhang the binding. If you don't want to outlay for the special tool to do this (it runs at about 60 odd bucks link here: http://www.stewmac.com/Luthier_Tools...ng_Nipper.html) you'll need to use a small square or flat file to do this.
But I realise that you've probably already done this research...
