I also did some work on a logo. Not sure how it will work being black print on a Black guitar....

What do we think peeps?
Guitar coming along very nicely.
Where would the logo go? Headstock? You could do a stylised bolt through the logo to go with the 'Franken' bit. And maybe make it 'labs', not 'lab'?
Or you could stick the main part of the logo symbol on the front of the headstock, and have the FGL text on the back of the headstock?
Or run the text in a single line along the bottom of the front of the headstock and have the logo (possibly engraved) on an over-sized truss-rod cover?
Cheers, Simon.
I would be putting it on the headstock, at one point i was considering the W device as a standalone inlay.
I think Will do a headstock face version that is just the W device with maybe FGL as per your suggestion, with the serial details and full FrankenWashie bit, on back.
I like the logo with the Serial included but once you scale it down it loses its punch a bit as my print tests have shown me.
TRC is going to be very plain, A simple trapezoid, possibly rosewood, maybe black dyed maple. Don't really know yet. Thanks for the feedback and ideas, much appreciated.
And thanks for your suggestions.
Hey Frankie,
Love the colour on this one! You could get a white vinyl sticker made to go on your headstock. I reckon your full design would work on the top of the headstock if you went that way. Anyway just a thought.
cheers,
Gav.
Cheers Gav, I will look into the vinyl option. Another thought I had was maybe having it as a feature on the face of the guitar, aft of the bridge or nestled between the PUP rings. I'm going to test print it on decal paper in a couple of sizes to see how it all looks.
I'm thinking that a black on black stealth logo look would be pretty cool just behind the neck heel as well.
Black on black - sounds great!
cheers,
Gav.
