I have all four lined up now with cotton threaded through. I thought it would be a nice feature to hang off each tuning peg and it helps keep the flies away hahahaha.

Just did a wet and dry sand with 2000 and it's taking too much off. I thought I left enough time to dry after 8 coats total then rest. More coats of poly or should I just go straight to the micro mesh to smooth off the bumps and then keep going up a grade?
Cheers,
Alkay.
Hi mate, 2000 can cut more than what most folks realise, just need to check your work after every 2-3 sweeps and then rinse off the paper for the next couple of passes over the build. Very light touch with lots of lubricant (water) is all that you need and once it feels glassy smooth time to move onto micro mesh pads and repeat this process as you move on up through the finer grades to 12,000 grit.
If you have already taken too much off that could be due to last few coats not being left long enough to cure or a more vigorous sanding action with minimal water. Either way you may need to add back some more top coats to help bring home that shiny finish you are chasing.

Thanks Waz,
Maybe I wasn't using enough lubricant. I thought it was wet enough but obviously not. After a few days it doesn't look that bad so I'll try rinsing after 2-3 sweeps as you said and not be so heavy handed and work my way up to the micro mesh. It's in the cutaway and barely visible so I'm happy to keep going. It's got enough coats on it... I think like 8 of poly. I thought I gave it plenty of time to dry so that could be a factor because it's not as warm here as Queensland but you do have humidity. I have left it alone for quite a few days since doing that last wet sand so should be ok to do a test run tonight. I'll see how I go.

Alkay.
Hey everyone,
It's been awhile and I've slowly been progressing with this build. I've shielded the cavities with conductive paint and finished the body with car polish.
Can anybody point me to a wiring guide(preferably a video) for this particular RBX-20 kit please?
If you want to look the wiring diagram is located on diy guitars australia website. Navigate to here:

The PBG YB-4 diagram should have you covered.
