Hahaha Yes I'll have to watch out for the bass napper! No sure on the clear coat, I have poly (satin/gloss) and some cans of white knight acrylic laying around. That would take all winter to cure the way it's going!

Looking great Andrew! Do you use special FW thnners? I've got an ash JB in my stack and will be stoked if it comes up half as good as yours is looking.

Yep I think your right there Wokks. I'll leave this for a few days before having a go at it. In the meantime, scratchie... and a think about the scratch plate for this bass

sounds good Ponch. I'd talk to Pabs about a clear pickguard for the jazzy. You can even get tinted clear sheets, I got a clear blue one for a blue strat I made and even the tremelo cover
