Almost at the business end of this build. My PBG upgrade parcel is waiting for collection at the post office ☺

Almost done with the tru oil. 10 on the flame, now has a natural shine to it. Neck done. Back and sides one more coat required. Applied headstock decal and now a few coats of tru oil required. Headstock decal is a bit low, and smaller font for next axe.

Then no doubt some fun with the wiring harness!

what black did you use for the headstock?

Hi Stan, not all black... on my SG-1F I used Feast Watson black proof tint (very black). This one is a sanded back colourtone red-mahogany then about 4 passes of colourtone black.

Hard to see but the grain is in the red mahogany running with the black.

Regardless of where its posted a stunner of a guitar Andrew. That burst is phenomenal

Very, very nice Andrew, I wouldn't want to be going up against this in GOTM, she's gonna be a real thing of beauty.
