Hello, I have just received my Tele kit and I am excited to begin the build.
I have never built a guitar from scratch before but hopefully it will go well. I am looking forward to meet other people and any advice would be great.

Be sure to start a build diary, that's the best place to ask any questions you might have. Also worth reading through other peoples diary's who have built the same guitar (very easy with that model).
Welcome! Can't go wrong with a TL kit for a first build.
The design of the tele is about as rudimentary as it comes for an electric guitar, but still provides all the fundamental geometry and principles of nearly any other guitar. Understanding all that is what comes out of building one.
