Hi Everyone.
The screw that holds the strap button on my les paul fell out today as I was playing it. If I screw it back in it falls straight back out. Any advice about how to fix this?

Could find a small dowel and plug it up, then redrill, or even try some strong glue? Timbermate can be used as a good filler too
Best way is to use a sliver of timber that snugly fits in the hole, you can dip the end of said sliver in some PVA glue to make sure it stays put.
Then simply re drive the screw.
Thanks for the suggestions :)
So glad I caught the guitar.
lucky save Emily, LP's are notorious for breaking headstocks !
The humble matchstick (or two) wedged with pva glue- a fix for everything.
yeah for sure Tony, or even a few toothpicks and PVA glue
Bamboo skewers work really well too.
sounds like you guys are having a bbq not fixing a guitar
Hey Fuzzy sounds like a plan mate, who would knock back a bbq and a few beers haha
