Titebond would be my go to. If, as you say, it fits neatly, then it should hopefully be almost imperceptible.

The piece split in two while I was fidddling with it. Went with super glue. I have a tiny line where the corner split off the chip. Turned out good enough for me. +1 for titebond, and I would tape it to the headstock (or use elastic bands) to hold it in place.Quote:
