Just wanted to introduce ourselves.
We are an uncle/nephew team, about to embark on a Thinline tele build.
I have been beating up guitars and amps for around 40 years and am hoping that at the end of this,
we have another budding guitarist in the ranks! If not, we'll have some fun getting this project together,
(which is really the aim) and a nice guitar at the end of it. I have built a couple of tube amps in the last few years, basically fender clones and a few pedals and have really enjoyed that, even ironing out the inevitable bugs, (which can be very frustrating!), but there is a sense of satisfaction that you just can't get buying something, "off the rack".
Anyway it's nice to know we have the support and resources of a whole community of like minded souls out there
to answer the inevitable simple questions.........
