    so i thought given the timbers are all australian that maybe i'd try and incorporate something iconic australian...

    Oh I like that idea. The only issue is that the stars of the southern cross would be quite small compared to the rest to be able to fit it in the space.

    I'm concerned that the kangaroo version of the PRS birds would look like a Qantas guitar. Although that is still fairly Aussie.

    Bush hats with different numbers of corks hanging from it to show the fret number? Could be a challenge by the 17th fret though.

    You'll struggle to fit all those on the same bit of fretboard, especially once you get to the 12th fret and beyond.
