Yes, 250's was my inclination as I've had good results with them using Fender Vintage Noiseless and their Gen 4 Noiseless.
I experimented with 250 & 500's with the Gen 4's and definitely preferred the 250's. (I did A/B recordings with each).

Pickups are arriving today, so hopefully will get them installed on the weekend.

I happily used 250k pots with my Kinmans until I switched over to using a Clapton active boost circuit with them.
