    Surplus tuners, one wanted

I've just done a refresh on my mates SX lapsteel and had to replace 1 tuner.

Does anyone have a stock kit Tele / Strat type tuner that they would care to pass on.

I've used one of the tuners for my 12 string build so I can get it back to him before he goes to hospital for a big op.

I have, but probably a bit OTT to send from the UK. As it's for a 12 string, do you need a L/H or R/H tuner. Might be best to post a pic to avoid confusion as to what one you need.

Thanks Simon it would be a left which is the same as a standard Tele / Strat tuner.

Happy birthday for the other day.

    Hi Dave

I have some tuners off a lefty strat but I think they would face the wrong way.
Can you post a pic of the type of tuner you are after and I will check it against what I have.

    Thanks

Thanks Colin, I would be pretty sure they would be the wrong ones

The ones in the pic here are the right ones and as per my original post I only need one

I'm planning to convert one off my Teles to a Barri so will probably spring for a set when I buy the neck

    Hi Dave,
I checked the tuners I have and they are left handed so don't match what you need.
Hopefully a right handed will have a spare available.

I look forward to seeing your 12 string build. Mine has stalled recently but I hope to get back to it soon.

    All the best
    Colin

I wonder if contacting the manufacturer would be of any help. Maybe if you contact them directly they'll sell you one individually. Another idea would be to contact a luthier.

Just need to wait until someone comes along with some spares. Alternatively, if that doesn't happen, I'm sure Adam will pop one in the post to you.

    Hey Dave

Had a rummage around and found a complete set from an ESP-1 kit, see pic.

Probably wont cost much more to post the lot instead of just one, if you still want them they are yours. Let me know.
