    Precision Bass pot wiring

Hi. I have the precision bass electrics - 2 pickups and vol and tone pots. The yellow wire broke off the pot, so I am needing check which connection to solder it back on to. Its a yellow wire with a short section of white wire at the tip. Its seems that both the white section and a portion steaming from the yellow need to be re-soldered. Is there an image I can get for reference? Much thanks, Corbs

Hey Corbs - keen to help - drop us a photo of the back and we can point you in the right direction - have wired one or two PB's in the past so should be able to assist.

The white wire goes to the middle tag on the volume pot, whilst the twisted screen gets soldered to the back of the volume pot.

You'll need to strip some insulation off the white part of the wire so you can solder the signal wire onto the centre tab on the pot.
