G'day.

My kits arrived Friday.

Both Custom, both orders mucked up by the language barrier.

I received a 15% discount. (refund)

The FS-1 was Body & Neck only with routes for P90.
So, this kit with no hardware & routes for P90 pups.

I wanted a Flame Maple Veneer top & got an Aged Maple Veneer instead.

I also got Triple Binding on the top instead of cream like the back & neck.

The top hangs out into the neck pocket a fair way on the lower side so the neck won't go all the way in but that won't be too hard to fix.

There seems to be glue(?) or something on the veneer that will need some work before it will take an even finish.

There are lighter defects on the fret board at the 6th & 8th frets that will also need some work to make them less obvious.

The edge of the body is fairly rough with tearout in the end grain, that will need to be filled & finished in solid colour to hide it.

I have some Kinman P90s to go in it that require a deeper route so I'll get to that first.
