    Anybody build an ES-5V yet?

A friend is wanting me to make one. Looks nice - I saw it is on backorder, anybody got some pics of a build?

    THANKS!

They are great kits to build, and are a lot of fun to play. They don’t sound too bad played acoustically either. Read some of the build diaries, especially re mounting the P90 as it won’t fit as is.

As Fretworn says, the pickup won’t fit as it is, but a little sanding will fix that issue. The biggest issue for me was the distance from the body to the strings, I had to do some work on the bridge to create something low enough to make it playable. All that aside I like it a lot and it sounds good.
