    Skye's TB-4 (First build)

Hey everyone. So iv'e had the kit for about 2 weeks, haven't done much other than reshape some of the body and the head so far. I only have hand tools, but ended up buying a cheap rotary tool to help with the sanding a couple of days ago, (already broke it lol). Here's how it's looking at the moment.

Still got a lot more shaping and sanding to go, but i think i'll try leveling and crowning the frets in between.

That’s rather inspired Skye, it puts me in mind of older cello and violin styling. Very nice!

Very cool carving there Skye. It has kind of a Viking vibe to me!

    I like it!
Funny McCreed refers to the Viking theme. When I saw the lower horn I immediately thought of a snake. Could it be Jörmungandr, the Midgard Serpent?

I don't know what your finishing plan is, but if you're spraying anything, be sure to go with lots of very light coats around the Elfin horn carving bit.

Those kind of grooves & recesses are good traps for the finish material and could easily pool or run.

Yeah I'll probably go with a stain and then use an ink wash to give it some depth
