Hi Dedman,
How did that affect the string height? I feel strange putting a huge shim in the neck, could an angled headstock be a solution?

the Duesenburg version is nicer than the Bigsby. I have chinese, licenced and real bigsbys and the Duesenburg has a nicer action than any of them. The spring has a lighter touch, the arm is way more adjustable and its much much easier to string. Cost about the same as a genuine Bigsby

I've used the Stetsbar on a mates' guitar and I have to say I didn't like it. Possibly because I'm not a huge Bigsby style trem fan; I prefer locking bridges, and the price seemed a little out there for what you got, although it went on the guitar without any alteration or bother...
... and it's ugly!! :-)
