    Better Machine heads

Hi, I have found the MAchine heads not precise enough on 2 of my guitars (Gibson style 3/3). I saw the Grover ones on PB (but only as an upgrade replacing purchased machine heads), but does anyone here seen anything that is good at a reasonable price?

I got some period correct.3x3 Klusons from the US for the 1970s SG200 I'm restoring.

    Price was more than acceptable

Restoring is a bit of a stretch at the moment because I haven't touched it for months

Me too. Haven't mounted the Klusons yet tho....hoping the quality is good.

I have a set of Grover's that were OEM on a '68 Fender Coronado that are still smooth as silk. So the cost per year is only about $.60 US for the upgrade price... ;-)
