I received a set of pickups recently for my Strat-like object I’m working on and the wires were all tinned ready for soldering. I’m gonna say it’s probably something that some companies do.

Got it A-z. With some help from my friends in the wiring forum thread, I'll check out the electronics. I looked them all over in the kit and it all looks pretty straightforward.

Yes, it was the learning that got me interested, but I wanted to learn about setups and fret dressings and Im stuck on the Staining process which didnt go very smooth for me.

How is your kit coming along? I am still thinking about locking tuners as I have them on my Gibson and they do make life easier.
