First custom ordered kit - tele thinline reverse headstock

Hey all.

I believe my custom kit should be in soon!! (Very excited) Mahogany body thin line Tele. F hole, pearloid binding on top, with a flame maple veneer. Belly carve on back. Maple neck and fret board with white dot inlays along the top edge and a reverse headstock.

My goal is fat, strat reverse headstock shape. Even blue stain on the back (tru oil finish) but a blue burst top with a hard gloss finish. And I'm thinking about staining the neck to simulate a roasted maple neck and fretboard. Brushed chrome hardware.

What is everybody's thoughts?

Do some tests with your blue stain on some scrap wood first, ideally before you get the kit, as Blue + Tru Oil = greenish (often).

Yeah I did think about that. if the tests go green I’ll go a 2k satin clear instead
