Such a simple mod, I’m surprised that manufacturers don’t offer something similar (but then they wouldn’t sell stands I guess) I intend to adapt it too, thank you

That looks like a pretty extreme angle to me. I guess if you mic it up through a PA for a gig it wouldn't matter.

My DIY amp stand angle is a bit of a compromise between my ears and an audience's ears. Folds flat for easy packing and works with all my amps too. Still going strong since 2000.

I was thinking the same thing myself before I did this mod..the amp is quite a bit bigger.
In practice though it seems O.K. in the house.
I can always fabricate a slightly longer one if need be.

    cheers, Mark.

Does the flap rattle or buzz if you use the amp upright? Or aren't you allowed to play loud enough in the house to really find out?

I'll give it a test tomorrow.
The hinge is rather stiff (hehe) wherever you move it, it tends to stay.

It would probably be fairly easy to drown out any rattles.

    cheers, Mark.

Cheers impala. Not my idea though.

Don't know if Fender continued the tilt legs. Probably have it as an optional 'extra'.

Yeah it's like a franchise chain of Pawn Shops in Australia, sometimes referred to as 'Cashies'. Typically a rip off, but I have got some good stuff from there over the years.
    Build 1 - Shoegazer MK1 JMA-1
    Build 2 - The Relliecaster TL-1
Build 3 - The Black Cherry SG AG-1
    Build 4 - The Sonicaster TL-1ish
    Build 5 - The Steampunker Bass YB-4
    Build 6 - The Howling Gowing ST-1

Even when I spot a bargain, it's worth having a go at 'would you take less'.
Depending on the sales rep. you may end up with less of a 'rip off'.

Having said that though, I've certainly seen some items priced way over what you know they are worth.

    cheers, Mark.

They still sell the tilt leg kits as aftermarket parts. They're around $100 here in AUS. Talk about "rip-off"!
