    Wow love the look of that finish! I never was a fan of the headless guitars, but they start to grow on me.

    Your little man in the guitar made me think of Tool's album art work from Alex Grey:

    So sorry for the late reply!
    I used Trans Tint stains.
    1) Did a layer of bright red, let it dry, sanded it down
    2) Did a layer of lemon yellow, let it dry, sanded it down
    3) Did a layer of orange, let it dry
    4) Did repeated layers of lemon yellow until I liked the vibrance

    Love the look of this! What a wild body shape. Not typically a fan of the headless guitars / basses, but something about this one is spectacular.

    Follow-up to TZK's question, what did you use for the clear coat? It's professional!
