First build PBG FTD 1E semi hollow teardrop

Loved the design of this and looking forward to my first build. Kit arrived well packed and seems nicely built. The supplied tuners weren’t too good- where they had been in the bag, the plastic decals were torn but I’d already decided to upgrade and got some lovely grovers which look good. It will be a slow job but I’ve just done a dry assembly to see how things fit. Neck is nice snug fit but should I be concerned about the overlap on the fingerboard. The neck is right into the body and there is no movement.

Welcome and congratulations on the purchase! The overhang isn’t anything to worry about, just make sure it is not going to foul your front pickup mount.

Thanks for that. I was hoping that would be the case.
