Co-incidentally I was in my local AutoBarn yesterday and they had just taken delivery of 2 large cardboard boxes full with Auto Touch-up spray paint.
Talk about spoiled for choice. Decided that the Squier's next colour change would be a metallic purple.
Seriously thinking of actually painting my current TL-R now also...but what colour?

You can get really good results with the automotive rattle cans. I'd like to do another metallic. This was one I did for my nephew using SCA rattle cans.

I was sorely tempted to go for blue metallic rather than gloss block.

That looks fantastic - I would say its identical to the colour on my Fender J-Bass

I am so impressed with how that turned out - a colour to remember for the future.

Thanks, me too. I am a little worried because when I applied the last primer I did have cracking (not major but it was there) on the left hand side of the neck pick up and on the inside edge of the (I’m going to call it the horn) where I might have sprayed too much. So I’m going to have to learn to apply more sparingly.

I haven’t even touched the neck yet so I might start that when I am waiting for the body to dry.
