You can get really good results with the automotive rattle cans. I'd like to do another metallic. This was one I did for my nephew using SCA rattle cans.

I was sorely tempted to go for blue metallic rather than gloss block.

Thanks, me too. I am a little worried because when I applied the last primer I did have cracking (not major but it was there) on the left hand side of the neck pick up and on the inside edge of the (I’m going to call it the horn) where I might have sprayed too much. So I’m going to have to learn to apply more sparingly.
I haven’t even touched the neck yet so I might start that when I am waiting for the body to dry.
