I did a little more to it tonight, shaped the headstock, applied more paint to the body.
I did have issues with paint cracking again in one spot but I just sanded that area down and sprayed again.

I’ve only used one spray can. Would you advise I get another and apply more coats?
When it has dried should I be lightly sanding with 800 grit then eventually apply the clear coat?

Looking good. That colour works well with the maple.

Might be best to leave neck unfinished until re-fret job has been done as you may want to seal the fret board too and thus make it trickier to remove frets if done first.

Thanks Wazkelly, I did get the frets re-crowned in the week. So hopefully all is good now.

So I think I have put my final coat of paint on the body, I’m very happy with the colour.
Is my next move to fine sand it with those 2000 grit pads from Repco then apply the clear coat?

Well my final coat went on and I’m leaving that for a week while in Melbourne.

The True oil is going on really nice. And the neck is as smooth as a baby’s bum.

    My first PBG TLA-1 build

OMG this guitar is testing me, while applying the another coat of clear I’ve now noticed a different colour coming through. WTF.
