Never Too Late Vol 1. released

I reckoned it was a bit presumptuous calling it Volume 1 but we have another 50 tracks in the works at the moment so there should be at least one more

Mainly country influenced but there are tastes of other genres tucked away in there

Found out today that the song At Ballarat the Max and I wrote was entered in a national songwriters comp and has made the top 30, winner to be announced at a dinner on 30th of October

    Nice one.

I really don't dig on country unless it's really oddball - like maybe Ween or Violent Femmes. This has a lot of the kookiness I appreciate in those artists' tracks.

I guess Richard Smoker appeals a bit then, my favorite off that album is I Don't Want To Leave You On The Farm but having said that they are all a bit of fun.

Ween took the p155 out of every genre not just country.

True fact, a heap of Nashville's first call session guys refused to play on Ween's 12 Golden Country Greats and a couple more dropped out of the touring band
