Telecaster kit atl or dtz questions

I thinking of buying a tele kit,this will be my first build.
The kits i‘m looking at are:
Atl with black binding or dtz zebra..
My questions is can i stain the zebra body or is the wood ”sealed”?
What of the atl types kit would be best for staining?

Also why can i not buy black hardware on the atl kits with black binding? It Does not make sense that i only can buy black hardware with the white binding kit.
And if i choose not to buy hardware do i only get the body and neck?no pickguard,bridge,tuners ?

You will be able to stain any of the atl or dtz kits. If you want something different hardware wise, it is best to message Adam and see if he can arrange something for you.
