Looks better in the pics than it is, still a bit swirly in places. Probabyl sensible to wait until its a bit more assembled as I'm bound to put some marks on it.

Final fitment of the pickguard done, ended up with a little more gap to the bridge than I wanted, but oh well. If nothing else this build has reinforced that having really good templates saves a lot of headaches and fiddling around. I really need to knuckle down and get a new batch cut.

    Build 1 - Shoegazer MK1 JMA-1
    Build 2 - The Relliecaster TL-1
Build 3 - The Black Cherry SG AG-1
    Build 4 - The Sonicaster TL-1ish
    Build 5 - The Steampunker Bass YB-4
    Build 6 - The Howling Gowing ST-1

Oh boy, I wish Brendan. It's another step in the right direction.

So basically its together and makes noise. Needs string trees, strap buttons and a proper setup but an initial play around is very encouraging. Sounds just like a tele, maybe a little fatter on the neck pickup, but otherwise nice and jangly. I'd forgotten how much I like that tonerider pickup in the bridge.

I'll let it settle down and start tweaking it this week, then a final polish and detail and I think it'll be all good.

    Build 2 - The Relliecaster TL-1
Build 3 - The Black Cherry SG AG-1
    Build 4 - The Sonicaster TL-1ish
    Build 5 - The Steampunker Bass YB-4
    Build 6 - The Howling Gowing ST-1

Cheers man, I can see it being a pretty cool variant, but I'm going to get back to work on the Deluxster stuff and get that as streamlined as possible.

I like that even the neck bolts are offset. The attention to detail is a standout here.

That's two magnificent axes you have there Sonic. I'd be super proud if i could make something half as good as that. Well done mate, another positive step towards mass production!
