Oh yeah there will definitely be more. There will be a short hiatus, but plans for the next evolution are well underway.

Thanks mate, nice to hear from you. Was thinking of another explorer the same in burnt orange and black....

I really like the lines of this one, like a St Vincent only nicer...

    Cheers!

I took it to band practice yesterday thinking I’d try it out for a song or two. Ended up using it the entire time!

So a bit of a review:

I designed it to have a pretty chunky neck, so its wider and thicker than ‘normal’. It felt a bit odd to start with, but it really works well for me. I will reduce the thickness of the neck carve a little with the next one.

    Upper fret access is awesome.

It’s pretty heavy, but I’d normally play the shoegazer or my Hagstrom both of which are similar weight, so it didn’t bother me. I’ve just gotten used to that now, some of my other guitars almost feel too light.

At this point in my band’s development I mostly play clean, with a little bit of distortion for some parts for some cut through. It sounded great and there was lots I could do switching to single coils or between pickups to vary the sound.

No noticeable issues with fret buzz or anything. I think I’m going to put some 11s on it. The action is so low that it’s very easy to get a clear note with a light touch. I’m interested to see how it feels with chunkier strings.

So overall, I’m stoked. I want to try and do a better sound demo soon. The only problem with that is the operator error

Hi Sonic. Just catching up with your recent posts. Love the sounds . It looks smaller when I see it played. The proportions are still spot on to my eye, but I think I'd like to see the body stretched a little. Just my two cents worth. You should be incredibly proud mate.

Yep spot on. It's hard to illustrate in photo's. I think the bout area just needs to be enlarged slightly to balance it a bit.
