    New in Canada

    Hey there,

My first Pit Bull is scheduled to arrive today, according to Canada Post.

I went with the 7-string Explorer kit.

This will be my first set neck guitar. I'm halfway through a headless kit from Solo, and I've done a lot of restorations/rebuilds on various guitars.

The Explorer has always been my fav shape, so looking forward to tackling this one. I'll be upgrading the kit while building. I already have a new pickup set ready to go in, and a pile of Luminlay product to use. Still thinking about what direction I'll be taking for colour.

Welcome to the forum Super Dan! Always nice to have some more Canadians on here. Good choice in your kit, an Explorer is definitely on my bucket list.

Kit did indeed arrive today. Haven't opened it yet, as I'm still at work.

Ordered last Tuesday, and it arrived today. Australia to Edmonton in 6 days. Not bad!

Well, I opened the kit up last night, and it looks like I won;t be starting a build thread just yet.

I ordered the EXA-7 kit, but receieved the EXA-1 kit.

The quality of the kit looks amazing. Fit and finish is far beyond the Solo kit I have. Doesn't look I'll have to do much cleanup at all in terms of sanding or filling before I paint/finish.

For now, I await a response to my email to see how we fix this.

In any business, sometimes shit happens and issues come up. And it's how that issue is dealt with that really helps define a company.

I have now heard back from Adam, and I am very impressed with how this was handled. He came up with a solution that makes sense for both of us. Now, to start really planning this build.

Adam is great for that. I hope the project goes well from here on in.
