Humbucking Tele/Strat with a rotary switch?

So I now have a set of Lil' Punchers Tele twin blade pups and an HSS strat body.

I found a Strat pickguard routed for Tele Pickups. This pickguard comes ready for a Strat switch and three knobs.

So....I started wondering what to do with that.

I think I have figured out a way to get...
    H+H
    H+S
    S+H
    S+S (non-humbucking)

    ...with a 2-pole 4-position rotary switch.

Adding a push pull, I think I can make the S+S setting humbucking.

If it works it should be useful for anyone who wants to do a 2 humbucker Strat with a standard 3 hole, switch slot pickguard. if it works...

    So here's a sketch...did I get it right?

BTW, I just realized the cap is wired wrong. It should be one leg to the center tone pot lug. The other leg to ground.

Corrected the cap... would be grateful to have someone take a look to see if this will work. I suppose that there is no rush. I started this project in about 1986...

Yep, that should do what you want. To help reduce possible noise when the neck is in south-single mode, you may want to switch the Neck North Finish link to the rotary via the push/pull too so that the north coil is not 'hanging' when the push/pull is up.

Thank you! That makes perfect sense, and I am sure I would never have thought of it.
