I see spray guns for paint/vanish for about $45 at the big green shed, but has anyone tried to spray on poly using a $2 spray bottle?

I was feeling a bit underwhelmed about the kit and headstock but after giving the body a good going over today with the 80 grit it’s looking much improved and I’ve got my mojo back. I touched up a patch of the purfling which had a gash out of it and I couldn’t even find it tonight. That’s a win.

Hey FW. How do you like this? There is a shorter length with grain like the one on the left for $22.

Sorted for headstock Timber. And while I’m here, here is a nice piece of walnut.

    Nice score for $9 bucks!

That second SheOak plank is pretty much exactly what i am looking for. Greatly appreciate the heads up.

It’s a bit deeper in dimension than you probably want, but if you could split it down the middle you could possibly have two fret boards?

Gee, that would be a tragedy wouldn't it? TWO fretboards....what could I possibly do with those?

It would be wasteful not to use it.

The secretive nature of operation Annylonation continues. Day 3 without detection from ‘The Enemy’.
This Mahogany stain is powerful stuff. I don’t think I’ll have to pop the grain to get the look that I want. This is 50% diluted. I might try a weaker dilution..
