I have used TruOil on two necks - one maple, one mahogany. Then I have used Carnauba-containing furniture wax as my final layer and polished it. Quite nice

There are various brands of wipe on poly, I certainly can’t recommend one over the other. I’m using Feast Watson.

Awesome guys, thank you all for all your input, very helpful and many techniques to try and see what works for me. Thank you all again. I love this forum and site. Very helpful and learning a lot. Makes me want to build more and try out all these techniques. What a shame, i will end up with more basses ! Haha.
I used Tung oil on a Warmoth neck I got. After a shit load of coats and polishing it up with some 0000 steel wool, it's the best neck i've personally ever felt.
